I have not found any issues with this college so far. You need to be a self motivated for sure. Also you need to be able to learn things quickly. Working and going here is not a good idea. It is a fast-paced environment. If you live in CA this is still a faster option even if you fail and have to retake a class. You get what you put into this school so if you aren’t a good student or you have a problem with online learning then this probably is not a good option. It is expensive but compared to CA private schools this place is actually cheap. I don’t necessarily think they are trying to fail people but there are many changes happening all the time. The last school I went to was private and operated the same way but it was in person. It is hard to say whether this is a good option because I would have to know you to be able to determine that. Goodluck to anyone who chooses to attend here. Also the GAP exam to skip fundamentals and pharm are HESI based. So practice by doing HESI exams for those topics.

So far it’s been great. It is all typical issues with any online setting. My last school had similar issues with tech etc. The workload is a lot but very clear. They seem to be doing a lot of work to better the school. The pharm teacher is amazing. It is all done on canvas. There’s one 2 hr zoom a week that you can watch anytime or join live. There are slides that she goes over via prerecorded video. There are lessons you click through and do micro quizzes. And there’s also a 100 Q quiz per week. If you have to do fundamentals you have to do clinical simulation. I don’t know anything about that yet but next semester I will be doing it for both classes. My friend is in those classes already and said she likes the clinical simulation. Hope this answers some questions.

Thank you for the very detailed response! I think I will probably just take it separately because I have to work full time too so I don’t think I want to do that to myself. Thank you for the detailed info I appreciate it.

Does anyone know of current RNs in CA that went to this school and did lab prerequisites with straighterline? I am afraid that CA will not accept those as lab courses even though you do them in your home.

I am considering going there as well because I don't live close to any bridge programs that doesn't have a waiting list. I was curious if anyone will be working while they do this online program? I saw on a separate thread that some people have negative things to say about the school and it made me nervous to invest my money in it and not graduate after.
