International College of Health Sciences

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I am glad I could help. Believe me we were like you before we started this program. We are hesitant, we have so many questions. But so glad we went for it. Some students I know here in Cali, they already started pre reqs now they are still in pre reqs. When I started the program I started micro and A&P back in June 2019. Now, I’m almost done.

Hello everyone.

I'm looking into applying to this school to start in June of 2021. I have called for info and emailed the school my transcripts. Ichs want me to take a gap test for all the courses that I took. I was a nursing student who was about to graduate but failed a course. I was supposed to return and finish but the university I went to closed their nursing program. I have taken almost all my nursing courses but left with few to graduate. My questiom here is how do I prepare for or study for this test for all the classes I have taken??? Anything will help. Thanks

I’m following this thread! I’m a California native, moving to GA in 2022 once I graduate LVN school & ICHS has been on my mind since last year. I began researching transfer options in advance since I’m moving to a new state. I spoke to ICHS last year in 2020 it’s seems manageable, even more so considering I’ll be closer to FL. My plan is to work as an LVN for about a year or so before I take the plunge to ICHS. Want to get my feet wet first. I’m looking forward to this being an actual option that’s attainable unlike many schools here in my home state. So excited for all of you that are in the ICHS program, glad it’s going well for you. I’m currently finishing up my science PRQs online for ICHS so when I’m ready to enroll, I’m set. I have A&P 1 & 2 left. I sort of forgot what’s required to apply for ICHS, so I’m taking the classes that are most commonly required for all LPN-RN bridge programs.

I am used to self studying, my school has prepared us a lot for that method of learning & COVID has contributed to this as well. It’s all ZOOM everything, right? ?Good luck to all, and @sushigirl you are my inspiration! So glad you have friends who had made it through and now your next! Great job, girl. I wish you the best on your capstone and knocking that NCLEX RN out. Please keep us updated on how the school is working for you. Take care ?

Hi all I’m glad I found this post I am preparing  pay the $3500 down st ICHS and make monthly payments .

I was wondering since many of you have already been in the program how was the program ? How is program is set up. It’s like pulling teeth to get information and is just pay the money .

I did not pass Pharmacology in the gap exam but I did pass fundamentals and from looking at some prior comments they made the pharm test even harder because someone said it was D/H and it definitely wasn’t like this, The whole exam was about 110 questions I just took it on Sunday.

I just wanted to find out like see like what was your first semester like did you have to sign on did you have to zoom with the other students because like I said it’s like pulling teeth getting questions answered. There was no curriculums given nothing to say with the final exam would be how many points it would be or anything I just feel like I’m in a dark and before I commit to pay $35,000 and $1000 a month with 3500 down is a lot without knowing all the details

Im in the same boat as you! passed the funda but not the pharm portion of gap exam. Wondering if it's doable to do pharm, medsurge 1 and psych altogether as there is an option to appeal!
