Hey everyone. I'm currently preparing to start nursing school this upcoming Spring, but I'm having difficulty finding a place to get all of my health requirements and drug test done. I do not have health insurance and my college does offer these services but since I'm not enrolled in any classes this semester, they won't allow me to have it done on campus.
I need proof of:
MMR - Titer
Variecella - Titer
Tdap/Tetorifice
Hep B - Titer
Physical Check up
Urine Test
I needed some recommendations/advice of what my best options are. Thanks so much.

Try your local county health department, federally qualified health center/clinic, or if you have a minute clinic (usually in a drug store like CVS or Walgreens)

I would ask your mother or father where you got shots at as a child and that would help some if you were vaccinated as a child. I had to get Tdap, Flu and a Hep B shot for 25 bucks. Did you have to use Certified Profile or some other site for for your background check? My program used a site that had the drug test included. If not, there are occupational health places that will help with drug testing, even our urgent cares offer drug testing. I got a chickenpox titer for 43 bucks at the urgent care.

I'd find out exactly what the requirements are. If you need titers for all of those or if the vaccinations will work. I had to have titers regardless of how many times I had the mmr. I ended up having a negative in my reactivity for one of the ones in the MMR so I had to get it for the fifth time.
I'd call around. I'd start typing in labs in the internet and asking how much the stuff costs. Ask if they have a student discount.
Titters can be very expensive $300+ each. Sometimes health departments offer reduced cost titers

Check with your local labs to get prices on titers. You'll need a referral from a physician/NP to get those done so go ahead and ask for that when you go to your primary care provider/clinic for your physical. My school made us do the drug screen through a specific company but there are tons of places out there, just google "drug screen + your city" or ask whoever is doing your physical if they have any suggestions. If you need the Tdap or any other shots after your titer results come back I'd strongly recommend the health department - I got a HUGE discount on the shots I needed.
One other thing if you live in an impacted area with a high rate of measles or pertussis you may be able to get the vaccines for free from the health dept. My sister was returning to school for allied health that involved hospital clinicals. She left her job 2 months before returning to school and therefore her insurance. Because there was a pertussis outbreak in her county and a measles outbreak 2 counties away she was able to get MMR & TDaP vaccines for free, two step TB testing for less than $20 at her health department.
She already had varicella titer results from work . She got her physical for around $75 from an APN at a Minute Clinic.
Her drug screen was about $30 at the school required vendor.
Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions. I will look into everything you all mentioned.

I got all of my childhood immunizations plus Hep. B titers for $164. The lab gave me a 20% discount because I paid cash, since insurance didn't cover it.

Yikes! Nursing school is so expensive! I finally have everything bought except the ATI materials we need. That info hasn't came yet. I have Medicaid, but I didn't have to pay anything for my immunizations or titers.
I got an estimate of what all of my vaccinations, urine test and physical exam would cost at one of my local clinics and the total came to $578. IS THIS NORMAL? The county health department doesn't offer titers so I can't even do it there. Don't know what to do!
VERY expensive.... My expenses even before registration/books is way too much...
