Michelle02-
Have you tried the Kaplan review? I swear by it. They have online classes, on site classes, books, flask cards, mock tests, videos, tons of stuff. http://www.kaplan.com then go to test prep. I took the course, used ALL of the study materials in the Kaplan library, took the test in 30 minutes, did 75 questions and passed. I was an average student in school and didn't test well at all. The Kaplan class was the answer to my prayers.
thanks guys ... but i dunno ... the first time i took it, i enrolled in kaplan, watsed a lot of money, wasn't able to finish the kaplan course because of family emergency but i still took the test stopped at #81 and i failed
the second time i took it, i have suzanne's plan ... followed it strictly ... stopped at 76 ... but i guess i am the only one who failed using suzzane's plan, felt so embarassed ...
this third time i enrolled with ncsbn review finished everything and studied really good ... i took it today, stopped at #75 hoping it's a good sign ... but i think i failed again ...
i dunno what else to do ... i feel so stupid and worthless

Stop waiting so long in between tests. Do some NCLEX review classes. Maybe audit a couple of semesters. A month I loose alot, a year, forget it...

DO NOT GIVE UP and also DO NOT RUSH to resit the exam
Take a break before you start studying again (1 week) and start practising questions. Make sure you understand what is being asked and read the rationale even if you got it right. Just look at this as a hurdle to jump over and if necessary see if you can find a NCLEX tutor
Good luck

I just tuned in. What is the Pearson Vue trick and what does it mean? I'm finishing up my degree online and am curious about what is being used to determine failure.
Thanks.

I took my test today. Stopped at 110 (I think). Don't even know. I was done in 1 hour and 30 mintutes. I flew through that **** thing. I am so scared. I think I missed them all! Pearson won't work yet. I live in VA...probably wont. My results have not been delivered yet.

Don't beat yourself up about the test. It may feel like the end of the world but remember that you went to nursing school for a reason - and that reason should be why you get up, brush yourself off and start from scratch. Good luck.
Michelle & Tracey- Any word yet on your testing results?
Its easy to say..when you know you failed a couple of times already...I dont know why they made this exam anyways..Sure do those nurses who passed ..still make stupid mistakes at there work. Passing this stupid exam doesnt make you a better nurse...its just a piece of stupid license...Sorry to be mad..its really frustrating you spend too much money and effort and this all it gives you..and they make it harder for you to pass this stupid exam.:angryfire
