JTCC Nursing Program Acceptance
hello! just wanted to let you know that i just graduated from this program. took the nclex this week..passed in my first try. you must be dedicated and never fall behind. i went straight through as a b student and hated it...loved it...hated it. you need to get in a study group. that saved a lot of us....so far...about 20 of the graduates have taken nclex and passed on the first try. we are hoping for the 100% pass rate with our class!

nclex preparation help
i did not read any book...just did practice questions. i wish i would have read over the endocrine section. besides that ...i was nervous nelly..... trust yourself. do more questions, and then read each rationale. schedule that test. the longer you wait the more anxiety and the more you can forget. schedule the test in the afternoon (less time to wait)...not like me in the am. i hope you state has quick results..if not the pearson trick works...just read my drama again on that site from a few days ago.... happy to be a rn....

Took NCLEX Today: Need Help!!!
No problem...I will be around! My friend was scoring about 65% on Q Trainer 7, about 84% on the quizzes. She did not complete all of them. She came out KNOWING she PASSED at 75 questions....and she was right. It took her an hour and 40 minutes...and she passed. Advice: GO SLOW....I WENT WAY TO FAST. The stupid clock counts backwards from 6 hours in the corner...take your time. You have 6 hours...plenty of time. Think about each question. Sorry I scared the poop out of some of you. It is an awful feeling and unfair that the results just don't pop up. However...When you are done....it is all smooth sailing from here! :tbsk:

What to do after failing the boards..
I am sorry that you did not pass. I did lots of questions two weeks prior to class. Gave up TV, Family and everything. I must have been doing 300 questions a day. About 100 in the am, 100 afternoon and 100 evening. Reading each rational. I got 110 questions Wednesday and passed. My q bank scores were always low 60s and I was scared to death. Now you know what the test is like and it might help for the one on one. Best of luck to you..*hugs*

nclex preparation help
okay, here is my advice. since i am now an offical rn (as of thursday!) i graduated in may and then went straight to kaplan...for two weeks. no break. i started my job june 1st. then i was so burned out...i didn't study at all for two weeks. i was looking at my schedule for work and decided just do it. sign up for the test. i did...for july 8th. it gave me 4 weeks. before i knew it i had 13 days till the test. i did 200 questions a day. one week prior i did about 400 questions a day. i never reviewed the content as our 4th semester prepared me very well. i used kaplan, nclex 3500, and i used saunders 4th edition cd. on nclex: study not only the medicine but how to give it...am, pm, with milk, orange juice. study the disease if you don't know the disease signs and symptoms you need to review it! study who to see first and delegation. even review bioterr. (anthrax). infection control...what to wear when and for what disease. peds, and maternity. it is a lot of content. be sure to practice those questions and you will be fine. i had one math..change pounds to kg, the mcg to mg and then change minutes to hour. must have got that one right; it did not ask me another math question! all above is what kaplan teaches you. i only did practice questions and passed. the test was hard for me.. but i passed. good luck

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
It works...I just did it. Cried all day yesterday (read my other posts). I am in VA and we do not participate in Quick Results either. Did the trick after it stated my results were delivered...and I got the pop-up. Well...this morning at 0800 guess what...I passed! It is unofficial (but official). Thanks for all the great words of comfort. I wish I would have trusted the trick. Passed at 110 questions in 1 hour 25 minutes...JUST KNEW I FAILED...I did not know the questions. I PASSED...TRACEY RN

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
okay.....the trick worked. i cried all day yesterday....stayed on this website for support. i called every hour on the hour...and at 0800 this morning...i got the unofficial results from the state board. i passed. it is official and i am a registered nurse! i am so happyyyyyyyyyyyyy. the stress is finally over. i can't believe this. i just can't believe that i passed that test. i swear it was hard. i swear i didn't know much...i must have focused on the 15 that did not count and the every other question that i missed!
