I'm sick of my job...(vent)

Published

I ust started there in january...and I'm already sick of the drama. Right now they're saying that narcs are missing from the cart... Just add that to the laundry list!

-Lazy, lazy, lazy CNA's

-Inadequate staff nurses

-Management getting rid of long-term staff w/o notice

-Lazy DNS

-*****y old hags that don't do their own job but like to dictate yours

-Lazy, complaining drug addict patients who shoot up and smoke crack...and use us as a day shelter

This narcotics thing is just kind of it for me. We have a druggie nurse that "wastes" narcotics on her own and I have a feeling that this is another one of her issues. I miscounted, though...and I think that everyone else for the past several shifts did as well. We'll all probably get blamed for it. It was for a drug that has been d/c'd so I didn't even notice it gone. Quite frankly, I'm not even sure if I care anymore... They can drug test me 1000x times. I hope to be gone in a few months or less. This is just a small part of the grand drama!

:o Sorry to hear about your job troubles. I had a job like that before too. Once the narcotics started missing at my job I knew it was time for me to go. I know the "druggie" nurse did it but I couldn't prove it. Best of luck with your next new job.

Sarge, I feel your words. I hope things get better soon. I know, from experience, sometimes it's just time to move on. Good luck.

I don't know if its just me or I'm always tired when I read your posts, but I find it hard to read when you start all the words in capitals. Somehow it doesn't flow in my head. Wierd? I dunno. :uhoh21: :)

It's not weird, z's

I get a headache trying to read those every word capitalized posts. I considered commenting before, but thought maybe it was just me being irritable, so I'm glad it's not just me.:)

That's exactly why I'm leaving! I'm done with the druggie nurses and the crackwh*res.

Specializes in Specializes in L/D, newborn, GYN, LTC, Dialysis.

hope you find your way to a better job and peace.

I'm resigning in the morning. As of July 1, this ain't my job anymore! The evening shift nurse wasted the drugs a few nights ago so they know I'm innocent...but I'm done with this job anyway...in more ways than I could ever tell you! The evening nurse on thursday evening treated me like crap. I've worked too damn hard in my life to put up with this.

You know what, guys? I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I'm so conservative that my ears aren't even pierced! The anger runs deep because I'm a passionate person. I'm glad because my anger inspires me to take action and change my life!

Good luck in wherever you go from here. :)
