I can not believe that I found out this morning, after waiting for what seems like forever, that I got into the ADN program at our community college... I thought that I was going to pass out after hearing the great news.... The competition was tough with only 37 spots and over 400 applications given out. Anyway, I will be starting Aug. 25th and looking forward to every moment.... Class of 2005, here I come......
Thanks to everyone that had your fingers crossed, saying a prayer, sending good vibes, etc. I needed every bit of it...

I remember when I got my letter of acceptance. Two years ago I moved to a different address so my mail took a little longer then everyone elses. I found out that all my friends found out what their status was but I had no clue. I called my college advisor to find out if she knew anything. I left a message for her anyways. The next day she left a return message which was rather ominous sounding. I went to her office the next day to see if I could catch her. Fortunately, she was there and gave me my letter of acceptance. The letter arrived at my house that same day.
Slow mail is all. Now on to the NCLEX on June 30.

Thank you so much guys for all of your kind and generous words... You do not know how much it means... Likewise, I wish you all of the very best whether you are waiting on letters, in classes now, or at the tail end of it all... We will all make great nurses some day...
