Just for fun, if you were to choose a career other than nursing what would it be and why?

Ya know, I'd like to be one of those people who watch Netflix all day and give feedback. I'm pretty sure that's a thing.

I'd probably be a writer or doing something in music. I admit the pay is nice as a nurse though. And best thing is I can still be a writer or musician , especially since my nursing job pays the bills.

I was a programmer for many years, then for multiple reasons, including being my mother's caregiver at the end, I did 'this crazy nursing thing'. Yeah, sometimes I have regrets, but sometimes I don't ... although this pays less, it's often more rewarding. I didn't say perfect at all, just more rewarding.
But on another note, I should've been an artist & writer. Trying to get my *** moving to do more of both again. As an uncle of mine said once, 'Work gets in the way of other things sometimes'.

I would absolutely be an airline pilot. I do fly, but getting paid to fly passengers around would be ideal. It'd be stressful for sure, but also fun.

If I had it all to do over again, I'd a Funeral Director.

I'm amazing at decorating things but I can't draw or do digital art worth a flip. I once tried to "draw" a sample for my husband for a project and he told me it looked like a 5 year old's art project. :'(

If there's such a thing as being "meant" to do something, I'm "meant" to be an archaeologist. I can't imagine anything making me happier, and I still plan on pursuing it at some point. I enjoy nursing and all of the versatility that the field brings, but it was definitely pushed by my family as a steady employment/income/grown-up job.

I would become a pastry chef. And hopefully be a famous pastry chef! Oh well, maybe the next life!
