Are there any members on AN whom you would love to meet and why ?

I'll go first....

All the moderators- They all seem so insightful and knowledgeable. They are very fair and coordinate this site well.:yeah:

Realnursealso/LPN- I remember when I started LPN school and how much better I felt when she would say to be proud of being a LPN because we are real nurses also.

The commuter- I just like her.

TheCareerstudent- He just seems so down to earth and don't take any crap from anyone.

Praiser- Seems like a complete caring and compassionate person.

Leslie- Sometimes she gives me tough love... lol

RubyVee-I appreciate her wisdom

Mekbliz- Just seems nice

I'm sure there are many more but those came to mind first. Sorry if I miss-spelled any user names.

I really like esme, ruby vee of course and linearthinker, canesdukegirl, elvish- and everyone else who has kindly taken the time to help me. I am very grateful. And canesdukegirl? Sorry if I got the spelling wrong.

What's going on in Chicago those dates and where are you all going to be at? I'm not that far away & it may be interesting.

To the OP: Great post. There are so many here I would love to meet but I hesitate to name names for fear I would leave one of the "greats" out and offend someone. I'm just glad to be part of the group.

All of the members on these forums are good people. I am hesitant to name any specific names because so many people are great, and I know that I will leave important members out as a result of forgetting to mention them.

I want to meet Spoede, she helped me after a difficult time with school. We've fb and talk to each other and even found out we share a horse interest.we also live within driving distance. I'm glad to have this site to turn to!

I am meeting Silverdragon102 for the first time in Chicago and am so excited. We met through allnurses in 2005, spoken on the phone. When I emigrated she would send me food parcels.

I met Brian (yep he is real-a great man) Siri who was a mentor to me when I moved here. Elvish and I shared a room.

I would love to meet Don, Tweety and really too many others to mention

I have been perusing these forums for just about 4 years now and there are so many wise and helpful posters here, I am never disappointed. Some are people who have replied to my posts and some are people that I just love reading the replies they make to others.

My list would include in no particular order: Jolie, RubyVee, Zookeeper3, Joytotheworld, VirgoRN, oldtimer, canoehead, chinup, calliotter, fiona59, julesA, nursel56, sharpiesmom, elkpark, tweetie, thecommuter, llg, leslie, traumasrus, and RNwriter. This is not an allinclusive list by any means. So many posters I enjoy following.

I would want to meet everyone. When I read posts on a forum, I tend to picture everyone at a party or get-together. People come sit at tables or around a living room joining others in different discussions. It's just how I "visualize" threads.

Ironically, when people post pictures of themselves they usually look nothing like how I imagined them. :rolleyes:
