Should I be a nurse: I am going to scream! How in the HE double hockey sticks are we supposed to know what is right for you?? I am sorry if I sound rude not my intent, but it just makes me wonder, do you have to have all your decisions made by another person if so you ARE going to have a hard time being a burse. I am a EMT and if I had to ask someone to do XYZ before I do what I know needs to be done, I would have a poor patient outcome. Sorry but this is getting old
I would be worried if you heard them in your elbow or big toe...
Scott, I for one...love your odd but strangely amusing photos...keep 'em coming..and that one reminds me of the opening of Monty Python's Flying Circus..I can hear the music in my head right now ( of course, I frequenly hear things in my head):)
Ohhh the irony! Please tell me your incorrect spelling of a lot (along with you not capitalizing the proper words)was done on purpose!http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/04/alot-is-better-than-you-at-everything.html
what?! I was in a hurry. :)
also, all of you peeps quoting these films are lame. 1 or 2 quotes are cool, but all these pages is a bit lame.
first of all i read everything i could find that was written by nurses about being a nurse. i thought if there was an aspect that would turn me off to nursing -i'd discover it in this way-the opposite happened- i was even more intrigued by nursing.
i also took a phelbotomy course. i wanted to see how i'd do with patients and handle doing a potentially painful proceedure and how i would handle being around blood. i loved it and in fact the other phelobotomist all said i should be a nurse because i wanted to do so much for the patient. that's how i knew that nursing would be a good fit for me.
