what resource do you use for the best pa style paper? I am doing my BSN and this is one of my weaknesses. Also, I wait till the last minute to write my papers. I used to think I was an excellent writer when I was pursuing a bachelor for another major but doing the BSN has proven otherwise. I need help. How do you make completing the BSN a success? Thanks in advance for the tips.

APA resources:
Purdue OWL
PERRLA
If you're waiting until the last minute, that's another problem. You need to find some way to motivate yourself to start earlier. Mark a date on your calendar for finding research. Mark another day on the calendar for starting the rough draft. So on until the paper is finished. If you stick to your schedule, reward yourself: dinner out with friends, or whatever else.

At least spend some time composing a solid outline if you don't want to start writing the paper, but do not wait until the last minute. Your profs can tell.
I used to chunk my ideas:
Thesis or argument: one-two clear sentences.
Body paragraph headers (each theme or idea must relate to your thesis)
Conclusion
APA format is also very important because you will gain (or lose) many points.

PERRLA, best money ever spent. Used it for BSN and MSN

PERRLA, another vote from on that recommendation. Did it the old fashioned way for my BSN, used PERRLA for my MSN.
Warning, while it helps a lot you still need to get the ground work done and put in the time to get the research articles you need to complete the paper.
"Just do it, get it done" a quote from one of my friends, I had no excuse to not do it, I could do anything else later, but that paper needed to be done so just do it.
Good luck!

DIT.TO on the PERRLA.
Instead of worrying about margins and setting up the running head and title page, not to mention tons of references, I just needed to focus on writing my papers. *sigh*

You are not alone. I struggled through my BSN too due to APA papers . Here is how I survived. I used citationmachine.net . I also did chunks of my paper at a time. I would basically due a few sections at a time. I would pull out the rubric and made sure I addressed every bullet on that rubric. BSN is a lot of work but it's totally doable !!!

I am using a program called PERRLA for my APA papers's , Also check out Citation Machine online. It cot $25.00 for a year subscription but is well worth the money.
I have a degree in English and foreign languages and have written two book on Alternative nutrition but have found writing in APA style a challenge. If I can do it so can you.
I too lack motivation to finish my BSN but I started this accelerated program and by God I am f=going to finish it. I will throw $37,000.00 hard earned dollars down the drain.

Just find an online guide that shows you how to setup word (or other words processor)in apa format and write away.
