Ok, I've now read the entire thread. The saddest thing to me is that you are staying in a marriage that will NEVER work because of religion. This is a ridiculous reason to live an unhappy life. It ain't gonna work. Just be done with all this while you still have enough life to enjoy. Don't get counseling. Don't pray for her heart to be softened - use your head. Deep down, you KNOW the real deal. Follow what you can see is really right. Or don't, and spend your life wallowing in a misery that was easy to avoid. Life isn't magical. Sometimes we get things wrong. Correct it now!!!!

Just find an online guide that shows you how to setup word (or other words processor)in apa format and write away.

Try to find a halfway decent school that offers both and nobody will likely know the difference. Just don't bring it up. I've never seen it be an issue, tbh.

I haven't read the thread yet but, the first thing that probably needs to happen is a divorce.

The "good" thing about nursing homes is it's almost impossible to burn your bridge. The turnover is so high, I'd bet they'd let her walk in tomorrow and take a hall. Management might hate you, but I bet they'd do it.

I would say the large majority of LTC facilities are more like the OP and others suggested. I don't know why they are this way. The entire system needs to be revamped. Also, if you're going to be disturbed by having med aides and the like passing pills under your supervision and license - along with a patient load of 30 or more people - LTC nursing isnt for you. That is the reality every hour of every day. Overworked, underpaid - but ain't we all! Edit: I meant to reply to SWM2009, LPN but forgot to quote I guess.
