I did it, I have everyone and their mothers throwing rocks

and hoops along my way, but with determination, and will power I pulled through!

I am so happy ya'll!!!

Now onto getting ready for the boards, and starting my bachelors!

It is cool now to go on and look behind, at the threads that I have started when I began Nursing school... I have grown so much!!!!

congrats!

how hard was it for you? like, what was your gpa and stuff? and what do you think helps increases chances of admission to the rn program?

did you have to wait, and did you ever get rejected when applying for the RN program? I really want to have what you have now in 3 years...

I had a pretty good, I did not have a waiting list prior to getting accepted, since it was at a private university, admissions was based on your interview, pre entrance test, some other psych test, grades, and essay.

I have never been rejected, I have been accepted in 3 schools.

good luck to you!

Congrats! I remember reading your post back when you had orientation. WAY TO GO!!!!!!!

Congrat!!!:yeah:

I am on my second quarter in nursing school and it will end in a couple of weeks. It is definitly a lot of hard work, but it wasnt somthing i wasnt prepared for. Time management is my issue tho...between full time at school...work...family...its really hard. Especially when all teachers think they are the only class we are taking and bomb load us with homework/quizzes/exams.

I am most confident it will be well worth it at the end. Im looking forward to moving on in school and learning more and definitly getting in on the hands on portion.

Again Congrats!!! Good luck in the future!!

Congratulations!!! I start in the fall and I am so excited that I finally figured out what I want to do with my life and that I am getting the opportunity to do it! :yeah::yeah::yeah:

Thank you for your post. You brought a tear to my eye. I am finishing 3rd semester at the age of 39. Only one more to go. I am so tired at this point that I just want it to be DONE, but I'll rally over the summer and persevere. It's always nice to read posts like yours. I'll be doing one myself in December! Best of luck to you.

Congratulations:w00t:

It's very encouraging everytime I read someone has MADE IT. I'm just starting my journey, but can't wait to post that I too have MADE IT. Good luck with your future as a nurse :nurse:

Wow, :ancong!: I can remember when we both posted we were starting nursing school I believe within the same week, and your done already..YAY!! I still have nine more weeks to complete my program. My end date is in August:yeah: I'm right behind you.

All the hard work has paid off. I remember reading your post when you were up so many late nights between work and school and still maintained your high gpa. Once again..:ancong!:

Congratulations!!!! :yeah:

Such an encouraging and uplifting post! I needed that after reading a big handful of threads about people not making into nursing programs, wanting to quit nursing programs, and not getting hired after graduation. I am starting my prereqs in a couple weeks and reading all of these negative and scary posts is really bringing me down! LOL :uhoh3::p

I am going to grab onto this post and hang on for dear life. :D
