I was picked in the lottery!!!

O M G, I am soooo happy right now! Out of 585 applications, my name came up in the first 100, which means I should get into Spring 2014 at CCSF (they pick 50 for fall; 50 for spring). Nothing's set in stone until I get the official letter, but I'm still going to celebrate!!!

I would avoid Merritt!!! Wait until spring and attend ccsf.

I believe that's true! Do you know of anything good about ccsf, or personally true about Merritt being bad? I have had my share of bad first impressions and have heard bad things! Thanks for your advice. ;)

I attended Merritt's LVN program for a year and saw the horror first hand. I then got into LMC RN program and graduated from there. HUGE DIFFERENCE. I have a friend you graduated from CCSF about a year ago and loved it. Had a wonderful experience.

Awesome! Thanks so much for the info! I want to get into LMC!! I am still waiting for them to have their lottery. That's my first choice based in me living in Antioch, and their reputation... ;) I think my alternative choice will be CCSF.. ;)

What's everyone going to do in the meantime until Spring?

We don't get our packet until November. I'm assuming that's when we'll find out about orientation.

Other than that, I'm going to enjoy my family time as much as I can because I know it will be almost non-existent when NS starts.
