I was picked in the lottery!!!

O M G, I am soooo happy right now! Out of 585 applications, my name came up in the first 100, which means I should get into Spring 2014 at CCSF (they pick 50 for fall; 50 for spring). Nothing's set in stone until I get the official letter, but I'm still going to celebrate!!!

I just got the letter about the summer classes also. It says incoming student, so pretty sure that if you got one they anticipate you to be a spring nursing student... :)

do you guys know anything about Chabot College, how is it compared to CCSF. I just got an acceptance letter Chabot and not sure.

I don't know much about Chabot, sorry. I didn't apply there. I have always heard great things about CCSF. But I may be bias since I am originally from SF. You should find out what the NCLEX pass rates are from each school.

Are you going to attend any of the Summer Bridge classes at CCSF?

I probably will not, I got accepted to Merritt.. But have bit ruled anything out yet.

What waitlist number were you?

My alternate number is 32... The letter just says to attend summer prep classes that can help for nursing program. No official call or letter though asking me to come...

I am not going to go to the summer thing most likely. I got accepted to Merritt, but still keeping my options open.

I might just do the Medical Terminology class. I don't think it means we are in. I was just told that they only sent the letter to us on the standby list because we would be next in line if a spot opens. The key word is "if"! So, we still just have to wait. Ugh.

So I was number 32 on the alternate list. I got a letter today saying I am in for the spring 2014 class... You that much mean you guys are in!!
