My q Trainers were:

1 62.7

2 70.7

3 61.0

4 60.7

6 68.5

Your Q trainer scores are better than mine. But, you can't correlate your scores to mine and say "If my scores are better than his than I should have NCLEX shut by question X". Do you have a very good chance of passing with those scores? yes. Problem is it is the luck of the draw when it comes to the questions and the sequence of the questions. If it had asked me questions on my weaknesses (Mental Health, developmental milestones, certain drug side effects) I could have taken 140 questions.

The key to the test is to relax. Excessive anxiety can sabotage your chances to pass. Walk into the test believing that you have done everything can do and you are prepared (Q tests are good). Look for a pattern in the test. Mine was obvious. Got a multi choice question correct and next was a SATA, got the SATA wrong, next was multi choice. I alternated between multi choice and SATA with a few drag and drop questions. That allowed me to relax and felt good because NCLEX's computer adaptive testing looks for a narrow saw tooth pattern to stop the test.

Thank you so much, I am feeling more confident eac time and I will look for that pattern and definitely looking to take all 265 this time. I won't freak out if it doesn't shut off at 75.

Congrats RN Don1984 - welcome 2 the RN community :)

Anyone...i need all your advice those who took the NCLEX-RN last Sept 14. What are the Review books you guys used to prepare you for the exam. And what helped you alot. I am planning to take my NCLEX-RN too and I am not really sure which review books to get.

Thank you

Congratulations to all who passed!!!

Hello everyone again,

Completing Qtrainer 4 was a challenge, alot of Application questions and Analysis, i found it very hard and was not motivated for some reason.

I started it yesterday and stopped at 75 questions. Took over today and quit my test at 115 questions with 35 answered :( I know who does that?

I did the math to see how badly i had done and honestly in one specific time i got all the questions from 40-55 right, and then some wrong and some right again.

I answered a total of 115 with 79 right and 36 wrong, did the math and that put me at a 68% with out of 86 Application questions 61 were right which a 70% on Application, Analysis out of 7 answered 5 were right which is a 71%.

I know I didnt take the whole, i was just so discouraged and kept thinking every answer was probably wrong and i was wrong :( I cannot let that happen to me again.

I was actually doing really good! I have never gotten 15 questions right on a row, that is amazing! I hope i can perform tat well on the NCLEX!

Alright allnurses friends, here i am , i just took Qtrainer 5. That was much harder than 4 i believe, it asl took me all day because my kids were off school.

Anyway, I got a 60.7% with a 63.2 on Application and 63.1 on Analysis.

the score got way lower and that scares me, so i am going to listen to all my recorded notes for the next 4 days and then take qtrainer 6.

I have pretty one week away :( getting the jitters
