Conflicting Dosage Calculation Information
I am so sorry this happened to you. With that said, Nursing is about having sufficient knowledge and following instructions/procedures/policies. Anytime, an instructor gives instructions, you follow them. Anytime, a clinical instructor tells you how to do something, you do it. This following instructions will set you up well when you are working in the Nursing field with your RN credentials. There is always several ways a task could be done, but an RN must follow the policies of employer they work for. As an RN with close to 4 years experience, I can attest to this. Trust me, it is imperative, you as a Nursing student always follow instructions.

NCLEX incident
Wow, I do not know what to say, but let this be an example to all future RNs. All prospective RNs & present RNs must follow rules & policies precisely.

Pearson says... Pearson vue trick not accurate
RNsRWe "You will find the information you seek easily if you just read." - This is so true. This Pearson vue topic has been posted on time & time & time again. NCLEX seekers, you are future Registered Nurses. Please utilize your research skills & research this informative site for answers to your questions. Lastly, it is called Pearson Vue Trick & remember "tricks are for kids." Tricks are not official, thus remember that & if you want real confirmation if you passed, go through Pearson Vue official channels.

Wife is taking NCLEX RN exam for 4th time...
OP, the fact that you reached out on this allnurses forum is astounding & shows that you are a supportive/caring husband. For you/others who have never been to nursing school, this process to get an RN license is difficult to understand. I suggest you continue to be supportive & NEVER say to her or think that enough is enough. If this is her dream to be an RN, then support & encourage her. Some tips you can pass to her: Stay calm & relax. Remember go into the examination from a critical thinking and safety perspective & keep this in mind for every question. Read the question 2 - 3 times and make sure you understand what the question is asking. If an answer jumps out immediately, re-read that question, because that option could be the distracter. Lastly, please do not think about anything else b4 or during that exam (such as I need to pass this to get a new job, or to benefit my child or to help my family), b/c this will create undue pressure and anxiety. Much success to your wife.

FAILED NCLEX (2015). Need advice, please.
Hurst Hurst Hurst. I call it my Nurse's Bible!!! That LIVE REVIEW Class & accompanying BOOK helped me pass the NCLEX & made me a very knowledgeable Registered Nurse. Hurst only works if you put in the time to master all topics & if you are able to lecture on the topics without the book in front of you. If you master the Hurst & KNOW/UNDERSTAND your core content, NO question can fool on you on the NCLEX. This is coming from one who did not pass it the 1st time. Whatever you decide to use, much success & stay positive!!

Passed the NCLEX-RN in 75 questions! Hurst Review is amazing!
Congrats RN. Yes, Hurst is the TRUTH!!!! Hurst is why I am a RN today. Hurst is my nursing BIBLE - haha!

failed on the 3rd attempt
hi bubbles12, I am so sorry you have failed the NCLEX again. You can do it & with the right focus you will do it. Now, it appears you are studying to many materials. My motto is whatever materials you study, you must become an expert in them. An expert in the sense that you could lecture on the material. I do not think you can lecture on all the materials you used to study with(just being honest). I used Hurst live review & knew/continue to know that Hurst Book inside & out & passed in 75. I strongly believe in Hurst, b/c if your content is super strong, no question can trick you. My suggestion to you is use Hurst Book(only if you have the time to understand/know it/& can lecture on all topics in that book), the La Charity(which will get u ready for delegation/priority) & do questions. Further tips -> focus on meanings/rationales/& understand the WHY of every fact you come across. - Stay calm & relax. Now relax and GO GET YOUR LICENSE.
