I passed the CPNE

Published

Merry Christmas, I passed the CPNE Dec 19-21 @ Grady Memorial Hospital!!! Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful gift. It was all HIM. What an awesome blessing.

It CAN BE DONE. This was my first time. I took Lynn's workshop in Dallas and studied Lisa Arend's notes. I did not do a mock CPNE . I practiced 3-4 hrs a day for 3 1/2 months. I am so thankful.

Don't believe the horror stories. Study, have a grid and know the critical elements. Then, you should not have a problem. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Any suggestions on good NCLEX materials??

Merry Christmas and Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FANTASTIC YOU HAVE PASSED!!!!But remember if you had been part of the majority who are not as lucky the first second third time -you would most certainly have a horror story I am an RN now working as the Resourse nurse at a 600 pt facility on the weekends and as the ADON at a 70 bed facility during the week. I have now four college degrees so really not short on drive or brain cells-The CPNE was a horror story for me and for those who I saw experience it two and three times-all good people and probably good nurses.I will believe to the end there is something fundamentally wrong with this "evaluation tool" Best of luck to you on the RN NCLEX and on your future nursing career

I agree with you. In the future, I hope EC will move away from a weekend test and provide preceptored clinicals. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

You've proved your clinical competence in 2 1/2 days where many can't in 2 1/2 years! This is why Regents/Excelsior grads are well known for having balls of steel.

I wouldn't worry too much about NCLEX. As a CPNE survivor there will be very little you will not be able to accomplish.
