  1. I am praying for you.. You have this in the bag. You have studied now it is time to shine. Remember, this battle is not yours; It's already done.
  2. I am trying to select a graduate major in nursing. My choices are NP-Women's Health and Informatics. Any suggestions about majoring in Informatics? Are jobs plentyful? What type of positions would fit a nurse with a MSN in Informatics? Thank you
  3. I agree with you. In the future, I hope EC will move away from a weekend test and provide preceptored clinicals. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
  4. Know the CE backwards and forwards, don't be rude or cocky to the examiners, practice your labs and skills with someone observing you. I hope this helps.
  5. I know you are right. CONGRATS!!!!!!! What NCLEX review book do you suggest (if any) ?
  6. Merry Christmas, I passed the CPNE Dec 19-21 @ Grady Memorial Hospital!!! Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful gift. It was all HIM. What an awesome blessing. It CAN BE DONE. This was my first time. I took Lynn's workshop in Dallas and studied Lisa Arend's notes. I did not do a mock CPNE . I practiced 3-4 hrs a day for 3 1/2 months. I am so thankful. Don't believe the horror stories. Study, have a grid and know the critical elements. Then, you should not have a problem. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Any suggestions on good NCLEX materials??
  7. Excellent! That is wonderful; I am happy for you. Where did you test? I am sure you will pass the NCLEX.
  8. i am going to atlanta @ grady hospital.
  9. My CPNE is 12/19/08-12/21/08. A lot of students at the workshop who applied in August or earlier have already rec'd a test date. It took me all of 6 months. Did you get your date yet?
  10. I attended the Dallas workshop Oct 30-31;it was awesome. I am so glad I decided to go. Lynn gave us valuable strategies to about how to get in,get it done, and pass. I appreciate how she didn't sugar coat things;she was honest about what we need to do to be successful on that weekend. She gave us valuable insight about what to expect so we can be prepared. As a nurse of 13 years, she gave me just what I needed, information about the CPNE structure & how to avoid common pitfalls. I spoke with so many "first timers" and repeat test takers. I needed to hear the stories of what truly goes on during that weekend. Now it seems so real. It was amazing.
  11. Are you scheduled for the CPNE 12/3? If so, what site are you going to?I will be flying to Ga.
  12. i haven't taken it yet. i paid for oct 30-31 in dallas. i have heard good things about them so i am excited. failure is not an option. :)
  13. Yeah I opted for Lynn's workshop in Dallas. Its closer, cheaper and she has a 94% pass rate.
  14. www.cpneworkshop.com is the company's website of this particular workshop provider. As generic as it seems, CPNE is the name of the company. However, I have never heard of them until now.
  15. Has anyone taken this workshop? I read on the website that they guarentee attendess will pass. Was it helpful? I know EC has a good one, but I live quite far from them so the entire trip would be over 1,000 dollars. Please feel free to recommend other good workshops. Thanks
