I can't be the only one who thought the TEAS was easy...

I was just curious about what other people thought about the TEAS test... it didn't seem to be very challenging, and most of the stuff on there seemed pretty basic. I got a 91.2... which was "supposedly" in the 99th percentile of the program AND the nation. Ridiculous!

Congratulations to you. Just a thought - I know most people in my CC are non-traditional students and we have been out of school for anywhere from 10-20 years. I personally have been out for almost 16 years - that only makes me 34. However, even the college algebra that I had to take as a pre-req didn't prepare me for some of the math on the TEAS. I am proud to have scored an 89 but it didn't come easy and I am not ashamed to say that. Everyone is different.

I'm glad it came easy for you and you scored so well. Good luck in the rest of your NS career. Hopefully you will find some challenges along the way just to keep it interesting

I didn't think it was that hard, but I did get nervous, and ended up doing worse than I could have (got a 78%).

I just took and thought it was extremely hard, especially the english comprehension. English is my second language, so maybe that played a role.I also didn't have enough time to finish. I am not sure what to make of this. I have A's in all my classes, but I am very afraid of the score on this test.

Luckily it doesn't affect to my eligibility to get into the program, but it is embarassing. I am used to getting A's and top scores.

I hope the TEAS is as easy for me as you thought it to be. I will be taking it within the next couple of weeks or so. I am so nervous about it. If you have any heads up about it, please let me know. :idea:

When I took it I thought it was OK. I was freaked out by the math section and the science section wasn't what I expected...but when I got my grade I was in the 98% so I was pleased. Looking back I think a lot of it was nerves...I hadn't had a " standardized" test in over 15 years!

I'm still at Sacramento City College... I'm waiting for replies from a few CSU's, so I don't know where I'm going to go yet. Let's hope I get in somewhere!

I won't apply to Sac City's program unless I'm not accepted at any of the CSU's. I don't know about the extended campus, though, but I hear it's run through one of the local hospitals (maybe it's in your name? does Kaiser sponsor an RN program?). We'll see how this whole thing turns out in a few months when the CSU's send their acceptance/rejection letters. Did you ever go to any of the los rios community colleges? I've been to Sac City and CRC.

Technically I am going to to Sac City right now. I am one of the cohorts at the extended campus. We begin clinicals in August. I LOVE our facility. You'd never know its part of Sac City. It's actually funded through Sutter Hospitals. Kaiser is just where I work =)

I'm just so blessed I don't have to go through that whole acceptance/rejection letter phase. But you seem like your confident you'll get into one of them, so thats good.
