This is a posting right here on allnurses.com and all I did was click the "JOBS" link at the top of the page. this is the first listing. it says:

“Earn-While-You-Learn” – Work Study Program

The program is designed to allow international nurses to earn US wages while completing their education. The program enables you to work in healthcare or other employment in your first semester of study in the United States while you study for your master’s program in healthcare administration. Within the first year, you will become U.S. licensed nurses working in U.S. healthcare institutions such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, and medical practices – earning high salaries.

And that is part of the reason US NGs are having such a hard time.

I'm sorry OP. What I meant was there are many old and new grads looking for jobs as well as nurses with experience. Don't give up. :)

Oh man these are the kind of posts that really make me mad.....certainly not the OPs fault, its the fault of the out of touch US govt....pure unadulterated silliness

I'm an experienced nurse and I can't find a job. Anyone else having this problem?????

Lots of work out there if you are willing to get your foot in the door working the night shift or weekends and then if you show them you are fabulous hopefully in time the better shifts open and you can hop in that spot. Hang tough and be flexible so you bend and don't break. Smile

I am sure that many people would appreciate you pointing out where this cornucopia of jobs is :)

Thanks in advance!!!
