American Healthways Artesia, CA. The review center has a high pass rate. My study group and I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions after attending this revew class. He teaches both LVN and RN.

i would prefer california school of nursing in orange county , they have an offie in LA too.
i passed the nclex from the first time with 75 questions.
they have very good 3 day review befor the exam which is th ebest i never have befor.
there web site: http://www.hprovider.com
I took the RN exam. I went to America Healthways, studied on my own plus got together with a study group. I highly suggest you study your nursing content carefully. You cannot answer unless you know your nursing content.

Would recommend that you actually check out the NCLEX Forum that can be found under the student tab at the top of this page. Many resources are available there for you to use.
Best of luck to you on your exam.

My brother failed the NCLEX 3 times and almost quit from being so discouraged. He ended up going to Sycamore Nurses in LA after it was recommended to him. He took the exam 2 weeks after the review and he finally passed. He said it was way better than Kaplan. I highly doubt that but if it worked for him, it might work for you.
i think the site is sycamorenurses.com
Good Luck!

My Review course entailed 7 hour days at starbucks with my head buried in my Saunders 3rd edition NCLEX-RN Review book for about a week. And my sister gave me the book, so all my money was spent on coffee. I took the NCLEX-RN and passed. I've been licensed since 02/04/09.

Hi all, America Healthways Education Center (ahec) in Artesia/Cerritos is awesome. I failed the nclex multiple times, and I did other review classes (kaplan and a self review of hurst) + saunders and mosby texts! I still failed...I nearly gave up, but was told that I shouldn't allow NCLEX bring me down, since I did finish nursing school.... i found AHEC on here! So I gave them a call and signed up for the next class.
Reviewed for a month what I learned....and PASSED
If you need to contact me....feel free. I am a true believer of AHEC. FYI I took the Exam May 18,2010, got my results in CA May 21, 2010...I'm a RN!

I also went to America Healthways and I was really happy with the result. I highly recommend AHEC.
I am a foreign graduate nurse & I graduated long time and never practiced nursing but with the help of their instructor he was truly a gifted one. He has techniques that can help you easily understand strategies & concepts. He does not focus in strategies alone but the whole coverage of nursing... It is really worth it. I even tried other review centers like excel and kaplan but they are even more expensive and did not help me at all. Anyway, good luck to all of you. Now, I am an RN in one of the big and known hospitals in Los Angeles.
