Hello Everyone,

Can someone please give me some info on a good nclex-lvn review course in Los Angeles, Ca please. Thanks

I'm a LVN, i graduated about 8 months ago, and from this website i found out about America Healthway Education and my friend and me signed on stat, and we took our nclex one month after the review class, both passed on 85 questions on the first try!! I don't have any health care background so even though i made it out alive the nursing program, i'm still very nervous about the nclex, and thought instead of failing i might as well invest in this, and turned out i was right, and so are the people who recommended this review class here! Good luck, if i can do it, anyone can~

Anyone looking for an excellent NCLEX review in Los Angeles, I would highly recommend Sycamore Learning Center in the mid-Wilshire are. I had been looking for a good review class but could not decide which one until I came across the following online article that I thought it was worth a try. Anyway, I passed on my first try taking the LVN test and I could only thank ---- for her help. Right now, my wife is also reviewing with her and she is feeling so good for all the things she is learning from the review which she did not learn in her class. Anyway, here is the article that made me decide to enroll with her... and I thought that was the best decision I ever made in my life...

This place is absolutely wonderful. I found out about Sycamore Learning Center through Craigslist because they advertised NCLEX VN and RN review sessions all the time. I thought this place was a sham at first because I wasn't able to find any legitimate information about the site but I decided to give them a call anyway. I spoke with ------ who briefly gave me an overview about the month-long program and told me about the instructor. He was even able to set me up on a payment plan to spare me from having to pay $350 upfront.

I attended the Saturday reviews which were taught by ------, a respected nurse in the community. Her vast nursing background and education reassured me that I was in good hands. She was a nurse preceptor at Mount St. Mary's College so I knew this lady knew what she's talking about.

In the four weekends I was there it baffled me that I picked up on so many little tricks NCLEX has. It amuses me that even school alone didn't teach as much as ------ has in a month. I don't know how other review classes operate but Sycamore will not feed you answers and tell you to memorize that Airway, Breathing, and Circulation are ALWAYS priority. Instead, they make you think and analyze the importance of ABC over ,say, an open fracture or 103 degrees fever.

I highly recommend any student who's been out of school for a while and studying for their NCLEX to take a refresher course such as this. You may have done well in school and can regurgitate information but the NCLEX is so tricky and there are several ways to answer a question. Sycamore was the reason I was able to pass successfully and I thank ------ for that.

I also attended the Sycamore review course and it helped me pass my nclex after taking it many times. I would highly recomend this review course to anyone struggling on the nclex.

would you suggest taking extended review with AHEC?
