I just want to cry 😢

Hey everyone! My NCLEX ended at 91 questions and I am 100% sure I got the last question wrong. Was anyone positive they got the last question wrong but still passed? I was told by the people at Pearson they don't process exams on Saturdays because it isn't a "business day". I won't make it till Tuesday. Anyone experience this?

No one knows if you passed. NO one knows if you got this question wrong. Just relax until Tuesday! Older nurses had to wait MONTHS! Us newbies can wait 2-3 days!!

Wishing you the best ! I took my exam Friday and I hope to get the quick results tomorrow . I'll be praying for you as well . I know the anxiety . I cannot stop thinking about this exam ! 😓

I am not asking if I passed, but I am just trying to figure out if getting the last question wrong and failing is just a myth or true for some. For whatever reason I remembered the last question, which is how I figured out I was wrong after thinking about the question when I got home I then realized I chose the wrong answer and the right one was my second choice.

It's a myth, one I did plenty of obsessing over myself! Honestly, any tips, tricks, or hidden bits of knowledge that will tell you in advance whether you passed or failed before results are revealed by your BON or Quick Results are unreliable. You just have to tough out the excruciating wait.

They are wrong. When I took my test, I got my results on Saturday.

Did anyone take their exam on Saturday and get the results on Monday?

That's right! My aunt went to nursing school in the 70s and they took the exam with pencil and paper and had to wait 2 months to get their results. I remember her being VERY nervous the whole 2 months. Can you imagine having to wait that long now? We're very lucky to get our official results in 48 hours :D

To answer OP's question: It's not a matter of having the last question wrong or right. It's a matter of being above the passing line within the 90% confidence interval to determine if you've passed or failed since you ended with 91 questions. There are other rules that kick in if you go all 265 or run out of time.

I know the waiting is excruciating! I used the waiting time to clean the house top to bottom. By the time I got my Quick Results, my house was spic & span :D Best of luck!!!!!!

MYTH: getting the last question wrong leads to a fail on the test.

MYTH: quick results aren't available on weekends or holidays

I got my quick results both on a Saturday and a Sunday (took it twice, once for LPN once for RN). I have friends who also got theirs on the weekend and a few on legal holidays.

Getting the last question wrong does not mean you fail. There is only one exception, thats if you run out of time before the computer can be positive of a pass or fail, the last 60 questions answered MUST be above the passing line.

ACtually if you posted this the day you took the test (July 11th), your results should be up today (July 13)
