Something happened to me at Wednesday that i thought i would never hear.
I was told by my team leader that bouncing breasts are very inappropriate in the workplace.
There had been several complains on me for a long time (she claims).
And that i from now on, always had to use a bra.
Was she right to correct me like that, should i complain on her ?
I think women refusing to wear a bra has to do with the following:1. The individual is a closet exhibitionist.
2. They seek attention...the wrong kind.
3. They weren't taught any better.
4. They have deficient knowledge of what is considered professional.
I can only think of three types of "jobs" where you wouldn't wear a bra.
1. Lifeguard
2. Stripper
3. Prostitute
I would want to crawl under a rock, if my supervisor actually had to go as far as to tell me to wear a bra...
Sorry if this post offends anyone...but seriously...do you HAVE to be told?
Next thing we'll have is a male nurse/doctor who insists on going commando with white pants every day.
Wow a little judgmental are we. That is ok, though. I wear support because I like it. has nothing to do with the reasons you listed.
I have worked two of the three jobs you have listed, and I see nothing wrong with that. I did that in my young days. I was a great life guard, and I was a very good dancer. Number 3 was not for me though.
As far as a male nurse or doctor going commando with white pants or scrubs. Now really, the very large majority of them would truly go unnoticed, don't you think so.
Either way laugh at it, and everything is better.

What emotional trauma, Laugh Lines.
Have you ever noticed guys who go commando, when they go to the mens room and they come out they always have a few drops left and a little wet spot. Why doesn't this embarass them. truly.

They forgot to do the shake. If they forget to shake, they probably never even notice.
Next time you see it, offer them one of those pads you women wear. THAT ought to drive the point home, as well as give us all a chuckle when you share the story.
I know that there are those who cannot understand that this thread has made 28 pages, asking for it to finish yet are strangely drawn to it like moths to a light. In this post I will demonstrate how it has educated me and benefitted my workmate(s).
Until reading this thread I saw Bras as little more than (expensive) gift wrap, now I have sen the error of my naivete. A co-worker and good friend was complaining about the fit of her new bra and suggested removing it due to the discomfort. I immediately told her to stop and think about the two rules of not wearing a bra at work.
1/ The pencil test: she told me that she can hold a box of finger paints not just a pencil.
2/ Only certain occupations can get away with going braless: she just laughed at me...
So I advised her that she couldn't remove her bra at work and the discomfort would remind her that in future she would follow the other "rules" of bras according to this thread, (I actually told her that I have it on good authority, I figured you guys wouldn't mind).
1/ Get it properly fitted.
2/ wash before wearing, (handwash only)
3/ wear to ensure comfort before wearing to work
4/ ensure the straps are adjusted properly
5/ dont say that sort of stuff around us men because we find the whole thing funny in a juvenile manner.
As I walked from the room with a self-satisfied smile knowing I had acted with maturity, compassion and the understanding of a womans needs....she gave me a wedgie and suggested I kept my undies "up there" for the rest of the day so I knew how it felt.
Next time I will just giggle.
BTW why is a bra classed as singular but panties are plural?

That sounds kind of fun. It might actually be worth wearing white for that.
