Ok, I've had it. I'm tired of whippersnapper nurses, smart alecky new grads who think that their gold plated degrees trump experience.
I'm hungry for young flesh.
I'm officially a Crusty Old Bat, to put it nicely.
Hahaha woops! Sorry if we do that to you guys! Personally I truly appreciate your insight and try to stay quiet when you COBs want to tell me something. There's always something new to learn even if you've heard it more than once. The same way every time I read the same book and pick up something new every time.
Regarding my recent post, you said, in part:
"Since you have only posted 8 times since 2006, you wouldn't know that many of the COBs here are people who go out of their way to help new nurses."
You are right, I have never posted much on allnurses.com, but Brian, the founder of this site, recently invited members to answer a question or two, so that is why I have shown renewed interest.
And maybe I didn't understand fully what many of the RNs here seem to know what COB means, thus a semantic confusion.
And a "joke" has taken a serious tone, and I have been duly reprimanded by you COBs; I am sorry to have gotten your "wings" aflutter.

I think you're the one who has taken things too seriously. My wings are just fine.
Perhaps since you've come back to answer a survey we'll see more of you here.
