I finally passed NCLEX!

Published

Hi everyone :) I had made a post here around last month. I was so sad because I had failed my boards for the 2nd time - I had all 265 just like the first time I didn't pass. My third time taking it was a few days ago, and I had 265 questions AGAIN lol When I got home I didn't even know what to think anymore because I was just so exhausted with it all, my friends kept telling me to do the PVT (I did not do it the last two times, I just waited for the unofficial results) but I couldn't bring myself to do it so I had asked one of my friends to please check (I was so scared you guys LOL) and I told them just please don't tell me either way...well they went on for me and checked and they c&p the good pop up!!!!!!!! I screamed out of happiness LOL & today I checked my unoffical results and I finally saw the words I wanted to (PASS!!!!) I guess I just wanted to post this for anyone who didn't succeed the first time, or the second time, etc. believe me I KNOW how rough it is but just keep trying and you will get there :) All the best to everyone!

Congrats on this big day..can u tell what resources did u use ?

Thank you :)

I used the ATI comprehensive review, Kaplan, Saunders 5th edition CD, PLUS a friend from my nursing school who passed offered to help tutor me - for me it especially helped a lot to have someone there as a big support system & bounce questions off of one another :)

Congrats!! Your hard work so paid off in the end! and what a great Thanksgiving break you'll have now :D

Congratulations!!! What's the ATI comprehensive review?

Congratulations on a job well done.

Congrats! I know how you feel! I also failed at 265 the first time and passed the next time with 265. I thought I failed for sure because it didn't feel like I improved but I did! :)

ATI Copmprehensive Review is a neat book that I was given during a free NCLEX review session that my college held (I guess sponsored by the ATI people)...The Comprehensive NCLEX®-RN Review, 17th Edition, its $34.00 from the ATI website (not sure if you can also find it at Amazon, etc. but if you can, great! It's really worth it, moreover it helped me when I jotted down whatever I remembered from any given subject in the book)

Thank you everyone for the congratulations :)

Strange question...but what PVT did you use exactly? I thought it was not true anymore. and Congratulations btw! I failed my NCLEX for the second time last week and you are a real inspiration to me!
