Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that for the first time in 3 and a half years I am able to relax! I took the NCLEX-RN on Friday and I walked out thinking it wasn't that bad. Of course this sent up a red flag in my mind... oh no... if it wasn't that bad I must be below the line! I teetered between I'm going to be OK and I'm going to lose my job as a GN and I'm going to be a NA. I'm going to lose my authority, my pride, and my money. I checked Pearsonvue's website this morning just about every 15 minutes starting at 0800. Finally at 0900 it said I could check my results. I fumbled with my credit card and entered the wrong # 3 times I got my results, it turns out I passed!! What a huge relief! It feels so good to be able to clear my tables of review books and papers.
To those waiting for your results, if you felt the exam wasn't the worst thing you've taken in your life, don't be scared. You are most likely selling yourself short!
