OMG! Finally someone who is (well now "WAS") in the position as I am. I also graduated in 2004 and was working on my permit. I too failed! I got back on that horse and tested again and failed a second time. See I had a 1yr old and an infant and a teenager at home. I felt that maybe it was not time for me....so i put off the exam for a while. Like 2 yrs. Just when I felt that I need to finish what I started I got pregnant again. Although we were excited that we were expecting again....I put the nclex off once again. Ok...so now that 3 of my kids are in school full time I feel this is a great time to prepare again. I'm excited & nervous about finally making my dream come true. I am truly thrilled for you! Your story put a smile on my face and gave me hope. Best of luck on your new endeavors.
