Human Anatomy / A&P I Club for Fall 2007

I'm starting human anatomy next week, and would love to get a sticky started to keep each other sane. I'm a bit nervous about starting this class, as I really need an A, but work full-time and will also be taking abnormal psych. It's going to be a lot of work! :uhoh3:

So, when are you starting, where are you taking it, and how are you feeling?

Sunny...... I would recommend you go to a local library or your school library and get an anatomy book. It can be really easy to get behind. GOod luck!

I start my lecture on the 27th. OMG, I have two chapters to read and only have done one. I am doing chapter 3 now but it is very hard with my babies. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! i will be tested the 1st week of class which is monday!:uhoh21: Which me luck

I am starting A&P I this fall also and I really need an A as this is one of the rated classes at our school and only 20 people get in to the RN program. I am kinda nervous and somewhat excited. I think this post is great because we can cheer each other along!!

Yep :) He died 6 months ago, 96 male cause of death was CHF.

I may try the mask. Also wonder if swiping some vicks under my nose would help. I am not sure if it's from inhaling the chemicals or just the smell alone triggers the headache. I'm not a big fan of masks but beats dealing with a migraine. I was going to ask my instructor next lab if he had any ideas also.

I heard from another student that she heard the nursing students do the dissecting. But that could be a rumor. The school gets one new body a year.

Hmmm...I guess I need to get mentally prepared for that. Im not sure what our school will make us dissect. It will be interesting though.

Hello everyone! It feels like I have been waiting forever to join this group! I am taking A&P I at NHCTC-Laconia with a professor that got good reviews elsewhere on this site so I feel encouraged about that. I start September 5. I am also taking Intro to Chemistry. got my book today.... its HUGE and intimidating. start classes tomorrow night. i'm really looking forward to it... but dont want to dissect a cat! i love cats!

I start A&P I this fall also!!! I have heard horror stories about the class and I know a lot depends on who you get as a professor. I do not know what to expect!!

So I am typing this while lying on the couch. I've been studying cellular structure and function for hours, and I am sooo tired! This may sound incredibly dumb, but I can't believe how detailed this is! Wish me luck staying awake! :uhoh21:
