Human Anatomy / A&P I Club for Fall 2007

I'm starting human anatomy next week, and would love to get a sticky started to keep each other sane. I'm a bit nervous about starting this class, as I really need an A, but work full-time and will also be taking abnormal psych. It's going to be a lot of work! :uhoh3:

So, when are you starting, where are you taking it, and how are you feeling?

I am SOOOO nervous! I'm taking A&P online and today I have to go in to take my midterm. I'm currently at 92%, but the midterm is worth a total of 2800 points! That's as much as the entire first half of the class!! Oh the pressure!! I hope it goes well!!! Wish me luck!!

This class is over for me. I got a strong B and learned a LOT. Next semester I will be taking AP II. I am so happy to have some time off, although I am still working, and to spend some more time with my kids. The first day after school was over, I took my 3 year old daughter and with a friend who also has a 3 yr old, we went to Carter's to do a little shopping with the girls, then we had some coffee, kids got their milk, and we were just sitting outside in the sun and talking, kids were playing and feeding the birds. Ahhh, it was so nice to have a normal life again and not thinking about studying. I will really enjoy my time.

Woohoo! I got 80% on the first part of the test, 90% on the second part, and I'm pretty sure I'll have a high A on the essay part. Phew! This does drop my average to 89%

Oh well, I guess I have another 8 weeks to pump it up again!

This is a great sticky! I'm starting AandP jan 14th and am excited, especially with all this great advice on here.

Has this happened to anyone? I started taking AandP a year or so ago and chickened out on the first day of class (!!) thinking that I just couldn't do it,(especially the cat dissection) even though it interested me- now I'm taking it again and feel like I was just being wimpy and not wanting anything difficult in my life. Now part of me wants to know if I can do it, so whether it will be horrible or not I'm ready for a front row seat, ya know just dive in!

anyway, I hope now I don't lack the courage to accomplish something worthwhile in my life.

finished the class w/a B+ [88%], learned a lot and need to devote more time reading and studying. first major class after a 10 year break =)

taking up a&p 2 in spring- hope i get an A this time. enjoy your winter break!

I ended up with an A- (90%), which I guess translates to a 3.5. Not too shabby, I don't think. Hopefully I'll do at least as well in A&P2.

:balloons:FINALLY DONE, I got a 95 on the final and an A for the class. I can't wait for part two. I know it gets harder. Enjoy your Holidays

What percent does everyone need to get an A? I'm getting 92%, which I thought was an A, but the prof said I need 93% to get an A. Is that the grading scale everywhere?

Just wanting some input. I'm so upset. :madface:

a 90+ is an A at my school.

will your prof round up if you get a 92.5 or higher?
