Human Anatomy / A&P I Club for Fall 2007

Published

I'm starting human anatomy next week, and would love to get a sticky started to keep each other sane. I'm a bit nervous about starting this class, as I really need an A, but work full-time and will also be taking abnormal psych. It's going to be a lot of work! :uhoh3:

Let's help each other out through this forum! :welcome:

So, when are you starting, where are you taking it, and how are you feeling?

hey guys: Just an "atatomy websites" link I saved when I joined this site...I'm going to start looking them over, and just have "a little fun" reviewing, so that I can be a tad prepared when I start in September..

I had A&P I and II already and I found the following 2 sites, especially the first one, to be INCREDIBLY helpful.

GREAT SITE

GOOD SITE

I hope these are as helpful for you all as they were for me.

GOOD LUCK

thank you very much Nurz2be, that is very kind of you. ;)

You are very welcome. If I can help anyone I would be happy too. I learned a lot and would be happy to pass it on.

Thanks for the useful sites NYdreamer and Nurz2be! Excellent!

Hi,

I start A&P on Sept.4th, the same day as both my children's orientation at school. Along with A&P I am taking Mico. They are both hybrid classes with the same prof. I have to go in twice a week for labs and tests. I'm already losing sleep worrying!

Thanks for the support and websites to review, that should be very helpful. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Please count me in. I bought my books for A & P I already and WOW it looks a little overwhelming. I hope my brain absorbs all that info.:uhoh3:

Well, don't be surprised if you get half way through and you can't recall most of what you learned the first week. It is an intense course.

Our instructor, who was a medical physician for over 30 years, started our first day by saying "I had Anatomy and Physiology in college for 1 1/2 years. You have one month so you better sit down, shut up, and hold on tight." I LOVED that man (Insert laughter)

Oh boy, what a bumpy but great ride.

I just got my textbook and lab materials for A&P today...I can't wait to start!!!!

I'm taking Anatomy at Skyline in San Bruno, or Canada in Redwood City, starting on the 27th or 28th (I'm waitlisted for one of them).

I sat in on a class at CCSF last night, but there's no way that I'm getting in - I think there were more people there for the waitlist than seats in the class!

However, very excited about the class and finishing my application to UCSF.
