Human Anatomy / A&P I Club for Fall 2007

Published

I'm starting human anatomy next week, and would love to get a sticky started to keep each other sane. I'm a bit nervous about starting this class, as I really need an A, but work full-time and will also be taking abnormal psych. It's going to be a lot of work! :uhoh3:

Let's help each other out through this forum! :welcome:

So, when are you starting, where are you taking it, and how are you feeling?

I start AP 1 on 8/28, I'll have Tuesday/Thursday lecture from 12-1:30 and then Tuesday/Thursday lab from 1:40-4:30. The only other class I am taking this semester is a fitness class.I work 3 10 hour shifts a week......busy but doable I hope! This is my last pre req I need to take to apply to the respiratory therapy program that starts in January. They allow you to apply with your AP 1 class in progress!

Good luck everyone!

Count me in, too! I am taking A & P I through Rio Salado plus Dev. Psych. Waiting for the books and class starts today. Petrified! I haven't been in a science class since Organismic Bio in 1983 but I did finish my bachelor's online in 2005 so I know it can be done. Good luck to everyone!

I still have all my notes, typed, from A&P I and II. If anyone would like them I would be MORE than happy to send you a copy. They are broken down into chapters, which as you know are broken down into systems. Because the courses I took were 4 weeks each, A&P I was mostly the anatomy side and A&P II was a lot of physiology.

The type of book we used was:

Anatomy & Physiology: The Unity of Form and Function (Hardcover, 2006)

Author: Kenneth Saladin

I will say that the majority of textbooks agree on the important basics.

Just let me know if you would like the notes.36_1_11.gif

I really envy you that you could take this course in 4 weeks. Luckily my class is the full semester.

Count me in as well! I start Anatomy on Sep 4, along with Chem and College Algebra. I also work full time - home daycare - and have two children to take care of (three if you count my husband. Just kidding!)

Anyways, I am a bit nervous but trying to keep a positive outlook on things!

Hi all,

I am in too. I am taking Anatomy, eng and a guidance class. I work as a doula and childbirth educaor and have 4 children. This is gonna be FUN!!!:uhoh3:

Hi,

Count me in for A&P I this fall. I'm new here with this being my first post. My class won't start until the third week in Sept. I'm just finishing up the summer term and looking forward to a break before I dive into AP. This fall will be my third term towards pre-req's.

I start my lecture part tomorrow the 22nd and I start my lab the week of the 27th. I am very nervous about the class as it is a substantial amount of info to learn but I'm excited at the same time. Good luck to everyone!!!!

count me in, i'm starting 27th too

I just finished all my pre-requs...I loved A&P I and II...so if I can be of any assistance...please let me know!

Good luck 2 all!!!

I will be starting A and P on the 27th. I will also be taking Nutrition. I work full time and am raising two young boys alone.

OHHHHHH I found a site online that you can join. I am not sure how good it is but is an anatomy and physiology forum. I just typed anatomy and physiology tests and it came up. Hope you guys find it.

This just has to be the site you were refering to. http://groups.msn.com/AnatomyPhysiologyTests

Well I'll be starting A&P I on the 28th and I'm a bit nervous and excited as well. I'll be taking lecture on Tues from 6-9pm and lab Thurs. 6-8pm. I am returning to school after 12 yrs.
