Human Anatomy / A&P I Club for Fall 2007

Published

I'm starting human anatomy next week, and would love to get a sticky started to keep each other sane. I'm a bit nervous about starting this class, as I really need an A, but work full-time and will also be taking abnormal psych. It's going to be a lot of work! :uhoh3:

Let's help each other out through this forum! :welcome:

So, when are you starting, where are you taking it, and how are you feeling?

I'm taking Anatomy at Skyline in San Bruno, or Canada in Redwood City, starting on the 27th or 28th (I'm waitlisted for one of them).

I sat in on a class at CCSF last night, but there's no way that I'm getting in - I think there were more people there for the waitlist than seats in the class!

However, very excited about the class and finishing my application to UCSF.

That's so great that you got the class at Skyline - I would have liked to get a class there as it's closer to the city, where I live.

I'm taking it at the College of San Mateo, which hopefully works out well!

Hi everyone I will be starting my anatomy class on monday. I think I will get a digital recorder for notes if there is anyone here going to school in atlanta please drop me a line about what school you attending.

Who is using what book. I am using Martini 7th edition and the CD's that it comes with are GREAT!

I've been lurking on the board for a while, but when I saw this thread, I joined right up! Starting A&PI on Monday, the 20th and am scared witless. This is my last pre-req class and I'm really concerned about how to get it all in the ole brain. (Just finished Statistics, Sociology and Ethics in summer session.) Am an "older" students, so getting and keeping it all to stay in the memory bank is kind of nerve racking. Just keep telling myself..."what does Yoda say?"

I'm working full time also in a public health facility. No more little ones, though so I sure do have a lot of respect for those of you who have babies and work AND go to school. My hat's off to you.

Best of luck to everyone.

"Do, or do not. There is no 'try." Yoda

:welcome:Sher10, we are all here for the same support. I can't wait for the class to start. I am nervous b/c I have little ones but I am already doing note cards on the chemical organ. chapter b/c we have to read it before class. AHHH but I am getting a scence of how I should be studying. It took me about two weeks to figure it all out. I realized note cards work for me. Good luck everyone.

OHHHHHH I found a site online that you can join. I am not sure how good it is but is an anatomy and physiology forum. I just typed anatomy and physiology tests and it came up. Hope you guys find it.

I am really excited about the group we have! I start on the 20th and I can't wait! I am in Atlanta and ready to get started. We will all do great!

I'm glad to find this forum. I start A&P I and Chemistry (as well ad some other gen ed courses) this coming week. I've been back in school (at 41) for a couple of years, but finally figured out I could still live my dream of being in medicine. I'm excited and a bit nervous. We WILL succeed! :)
