Human Anatomy / A&P I Club for Fall 2007

Published

I'm starting human anatomy next week, and would love to get a sticky started to keep each other sane. I'm a bit nervous about starting this class, as I really need an A, but work full-time and will also be taking abnormal psych. It's going to be a lot of work! :uhoh3:

Let's help each other out through this forum! :welcome:

So, when are you starting, where are you taking it, and how are you feeling?

I'm done A&P, but I'm not posting to make you jealous, I'm posting to tell you that you can do it...and survive!!! I transferred into Nursing from English and was so terrified of all my science courses. What my nursing friends and I found helpful was to find reserve a study room in the library, write on the white board encouraging thoughts before we started studying, somebody would bring a snack, we'd all get some coffee, and take "laugh" breaks (watch a clip of dane cook or chris rock or something on somebody's computer). The encouraging thoughts help you perservere, and the laugh breaks help you maintain your sanity.

The M&Ms and coffee keep you awake and energized.

Keep going guys, you can do it! :)

I have offered in the past and I am continuing the offer to email anyone who asks me, my notes from AP I and II. I made great grades. My notes are comprehensive and very easy to follow. I also have PowerPoints that are of each chapter as well. If any of you want those please pm me and I will promptly send those out. Due to the size of the ppt's I have to send them in several emails.

I enclosed the following muscle information since several of you seem to be having issues with those. You can also look at these to see the quality of my notes to determine if you would like more.

Hi nurz2be,

I am taking you up on your offer. I am in an intense 10month LPN nursing school. My instructor is VERY confusing. I have failed several of her exams. I am looking for assistance. I would welcome your notes if you are posting. I am specifically looking for information on the:

The heart

blood circulation of the heart

AV NODE information

The respiratory system.

I would appreciate anything that you forward on the board.

Thanks,

Angie

Hi everyone, I hope you are all making it through the semester okay! I am studying muscles right now and found a great website I would like to pass on that is for "entry level a & p students". I have found it to be very helpful.
