HRSA 2021-2022

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I think so, as long as funding exists.

I still have not received a counter signature and I am really anxious. It's been hard to concentrate in doing my school work. I don't want to continue stressing out. I have been a finalist since 8/06/2021.

We have until September 30th. Try your best to focus on school work, that's was ultimately matters. Try not to worry about the signature until the 30th.

I’m in the same exact boat - I was actually the first one on this forum to announce I had a credit check back in June…finalist since 8/6. I completely understand how you feel - I do this in my life with a lot of things - get caught up in being upset when that doesn’t change anything for the better. You’re in class right now which means you’ve figured out how to pay for at least this semester, so that is ultimately the most important thing right now, and nothing changes that! We made it all the way to finalist - that’s like 97% of the way there! I’ve only read of one person being denied after that, and we don’t know their specifics either. Hit those books!!

Thank you so much. I had to go in my closet to pray and worship. I am leaving it in God’s hands. May His will be done. He knows my needs and He will provide.

I just realized that my contract was countersigned on 9/7! I submitted it the week of 8/16 with all of my documentation. Guess I didn't realize if I scrolled down to the bottom of the "signed contract" I would see the countersignature. ?

Still patiently waiting to receive an email! Received a credit check on August 6th and haven't heard anything back yet! Hopefully soon! I'm so happy for you guys that have received finalist emails!
