HRSA 2021-2022

Updated:   Published

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I haven't received anything! I'm freaking out.

For people looking back at this I ended up getting my stipend and orc on 10/25. The stipend was for four months ($5000) and then the ORC ($2205 after taxes) both in two separate deposits the same day.

Hey, I am a recipient for 2022-2023. I wanted to know did most people receive their stipend end of OCT? & did some really have to wait until Nov 15?

Hi!
first congrats! And to answer your question, most of us (21-22 recipients) received both our back pay of stipend plus the ORC on 10/25. They told us that stipends are not considered late until the 15th of the following month so that’s probably why they told you by November 15th. Also, when there are updates on the site, it sometimes means our stipends and ORC are about to be processed. Just keep an eye out for it!

Hello! Quick question. Those who have finished their service, how long did that process take to be discharged and what documentation they need to discharge you? I'm looking at my portal and it gives me an estimated date and I was told that the date might not be my discharge date, which confused me. I have asked multiple times and no one from there can give me an answer.
