I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?
Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

Hey we're in the FB group together. It was said in the webinar! I just rewatched it today ? It was said towards the beginning.

A previous years page said they started getting money the 20th with most people receiving it before November 1st.
For people looking back at this I ended up getting my stipend and orc on 10/25. The stipend was for four months ($5000) and then the ORC ($2205 after taxes) both in two separate deposits the same day.
Any CRNAs out there successfully get awarded that also claimed the OB specialty? I applied last year and didn’t get it, even with a debt-to-income ratio of 138%. I didn’t claim the OB speciality even though I’m doing epidurals and c-sections at my rural hospital. It’s confusing because OB is part of our training so there isn’t necessarily post-education speciality/certificate. Wondering if I can/should claim it this year. Any help is appreciated!

Honestly no CRNAs have EVER been given this scholarship due to your super high wages that you'll earn. You will easily be able to pay back CRNA school loans so that's probably why HRSA considers them last. I don't think you can claim OB as a CRNA for this scholarship.

I'm freaking out that I may have missed the email! Who was it addressed from??
Thank you!
It came from HRSA, you should log in to your portal, it may have converted and that would be a sign that you were awarded it. Have you gotten your COI?
