  1. I just realized that my contract was countersigned on 9/7! I submitted it the week of 8/16 with all of my documentation. Guess I didn't realize if I scrolled down to the bottom of the "signed contract" I would see the countersignature. ?
  2. I'll have to contact them, but this is very interesting because for state psych hospitals (under public) they specify that you have to use the facility HPSA and that population/geographic HPSAs cannot be used.
  3. I have a question for anyone who might have a good answer (if my scholarship is countersigned, I’ll ask a representative if needed) — so the guidelines state “The health care facilities listed are Critical Shortage Facilities only if located in, designated as, or serving a primary medical care or mental health HPSA.” So in the HPSA search, if a hospital isn’t listed as a facility but resides in a geographical area with a score >14, would it still count toward the requirement?
  4. Is there evidence of second doses being required despite issues with the first dose in these mandates? I would personally hope there are exceptions in these cases, because the point isn’t to cause harm to individuals and they’d be partially protected already. However, I think that uncomfortable side effects should be differentiated from actual patient harm, because I’m not sure that some individuals understand the difference.
  5. But imagine a world where our cases were only 7100+ with 88 deaths because everyone was vaccinated. We would finally be on the other side of the pandemic.
  6. I called about this and was told to just have them put “could not put seal on form due to completing it electronically.” Lady I spoke with said if they needed anything else they’d reach out directly but that should be fine for now!
  7. ^ As I understand it, as long as you aren’t overdue (which forbearance wouldn’t be), then you should be fine. I’ll also edit in here that my ABSN program is roughly 30k tuition and maybe 35k if you include books and things. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone waiting to hear something!
  8. Does anyone know if they backpay the stipend? Like I started school in this Summer semester, but regardless, if we didn't get paid out money until October, would they backpay for August/September?
  9. It changes to "Your overall Application Status is: Finalist for Award" and will ask if you'd like to be considered for the award! Then when you choose that, it reveals the documents that you need to have filled out (W-4 and enrollment forms).
  10. I'm ABSN and received my finalist email this afternoon! ?
  11. Credit check today, no email yet
  12. I’m BSN
  13. I received a credit check this morning, too! (Checked with Experian) No finalist status or email yet, though. My stats are GPA 3.7, EFC 4063, attending accelerated BSN that started back in May! ? Fingers crossed for everyone here!
  14. Thank you for mentioning this -- I wasn't aware of the application at all, but I'm going to give it a shot and apply while waiting to hear back on the HRSA! ?
  15. Does anyone know about extending one's scholarship if they choose to pursue an MSN after completion of their BSN? Do you have to reapply with a new application or does it fit under the renewal clause?
