HRSA 2021-2022

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I just realized that my contract was countersigned on 9/7! I submitted it the week of 8/16 with all of my documentation. Guess I didn't realize if I scrolled down to the bottom of the "signed contract" I would see the countersignature. ?

Hello everyone, 

Received a credit check on 8/6 and finalist email today @ 1pm. All thanks to God.. Congrats to everyone who received their email and everyone who is patiently waiting.

hey everyone! I just found out by logging into the portal that I’m a finalist! I didn’t get the finalist email thought because my email has been full and I’ve tried clearing it but have been having trouble! Is there anyway someone can send me what the finalist email said so I know what I need to do from here? Thanks so much in advance!

You should probably log into your portal. There's a 4-5 day deadline from the time you were notified to when you have to submit your paperwork. It should automatically pop up with a page to input your bank info and paperwork that has to been done by your school. I hope you haven't passed the deadline!

I have until the 19th to submit my paperwork but it doesn’t give me instructions like who needs to fill it out or anything. I also only have forms for Summer and fall but I graduate in Spring 2022 so I’m not sure what that means either. I wonder if there’s a way to get them to resend my finalist email.

Ahhh I see. It should be the same people who filled out the original verification form - so either your registrar or department head of nursing or your advisor can. The email doesn't really say anything other than the directions in the portal. You might need to call their number if you have issues with anything.

What about the school seal or stamp? How do we submit it with that if it’s electronic?

OMG I got a finalist email at 2pm, and a credit check on 8/6!! 

So grateful to have an update ?? definitely keep praying guys.
