I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

I just wanted to let you know that my contract was countersigned yesterday at 1:49. I know that still doesn't guarantee it, but it's one step closer. I didn't receive any notification, I just happened to look now and clicked on my contract and scrolled down. From past forums, finalists had the contracts countersigned over a period of weeks, so don't fret if yours isn't yet.
Goodluck!
thanks for that update, ill be keeping an eye on mine
FYI
I spoke to a representative about two days ago and asked him what are the chances of being awarded once you are a finalist and he said everyone gets awarded unless they find any discrepancies or if we were dishonest about anything in our application

They said that the countersign is the "official" means of getting accepted. Essentially speaking, nothing else will stand in our way of getting the Scholarship. Once the contract is signed, we have it!! So we can celebrate!! The final email is just information about the award stating all the details of the contract, contract start date, etc.
Congratulations to all! Hopes high for everyone else!

Do we know when our participant emails are expected? I’m assuming the people who received the first round of counter signature also received the first round of finalist emails?? so maybe just a matter of time before we get our official participant email, I can’t seem to celebrate until I get that email.
CONGRATS to all!!
