HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021

I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

I just want to make sure you guys are aware this is the scholarship thread for last year. There is a new one for 2021-2022, although no one I know has heard anything either for this years application cycle. The new thread is this one

My credit was checked in June by HRSA!! I just looked - I’m praying so hard all night for this - it would change my life with four kids ?????

Has anyone received finalist emails? Does anyone know how long after it usually takes?

Hi my credit got checked around the same time, did you get any other updates?

I got my finalist notification 9/1

After they send you a finalist email are you pretty much set? I am sooo anxious.

I was a finalist last year. I was not notified until September 30th that there were not enough funds for all finalists to receive the scholarship. ? I now have 80k in loans so far ? Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Keep applying for other scholarships and brainstorm other ways to fund your education! I hope you all get it!

hey! I just got my COI from HRSA, and was wondering if I could chat to anyone of y'all who received the scholarship and now works for a HPSA site. I am trying to factor out wages vs the loan etc and wanted some inside info!
