HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021

I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

Hey everyone! In regards to this scholarship, I am thinking of applying to NYU’s ABSN program but for the Spring 2022 cohort because unfortunately their Fall 2021 had passed... Will this scholarship be reposted for the Spring 2022 or do I apply now for this??? 
I am trying to contact them but they’re taking forever

hey! just graduated from NYU’s traditional program today LOL. yeah the scholarship will open up again for march 2022 and close around may-June 2022, so if you begin the program fall 2022 (and if you get this scholarship), you’ll have it for the full 15 months. good luck ! @EdaTheInfermiere

but wait, what if I want to apply for the Spring 2022 cohort not the Fall 2022... Is this scholarship not provided for the Spring??? ?

it’s awarded every fall, so no it would not cover the Spring semester that you apply for it @EdaTheInfermiere

I am trying to submit my application now and I want to submit 2 non- academic reccommendations. How do I do that?

hey, you can’t. you have to have one academic & one non-academic

@MrsLittleRN You need an official academic recommendation but HOT TIP ALERT you can add additional recommendations as “additional documents.”  Anything else that supports your application (certificates, for example) can also go there.

Question when they say submit proof of certificate what do they exactly want. I'm pursing an ABSN degree.

If you have any professional licenses or certifications.

Specializes in CNA, future-BSN.

Like for example if you’re a CNA you upload your certification. But if you don’t have any, you don’t upload and it’s fine.

So glad I found this forum! I pray and hope I’m picked for this scholarship. It looks as if you guys starting hearing back in sometime in July last year? I called also they don’t know how many ppl they accept or when to hear back
