HRSA Nurse Corps 2026 Application
That's a very good indication that you will probably get the scholarship. I have not received any notifications regarding my application. When I applied back in 2020 for my BSN, I got the finalist email and eventually was awarded the scholarship.

HRSA Nurse Corps 2026 Application
I'm starting a new thread for the HRSA Nurse Corps 2026 application. This thread is open to all discussions surrounding the 2026 application cycle. I was wondering if anyone else was thrown off by how the application process lacked the opportunity to highlight professional and academic achievements. I'm a little discouraged because it feels like this application cycle is weighed heavily off of financial needs. What are your thoughts? Do you have any insights? Patiently waiting for results.

The Ohio State University (OSU) PMHNP - 2026
I'm excited to share that I'll be starting the Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Graduate Program at The Ohio State University in August 2026! As I prepare for this next chapter, especially as a parent with a toddler, I've been doing a lot of research and prep work. Since the program is fully online, I'm curious to hear from any current or former students about their experiences. Specifically, I'd love to get a sense of what the schedule and classes look like. How flexible is the online format, and how do you balance school with family life, particularly during the first year when you're adjusting to the workload? I'm trying to visualize what my life will look like over the next 2.5 years, and I'd be grateful for any advice or tips you can share. Whether it's time management strategies, study resources, or any insights on navigating the program as a parent, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thank you so much in advance for your help!

HRSA- Nurse Corps 2025
Congratulations to all the finalists this year! Would anyone be willing to share the essay question(s)? I'm looking to apply for 2026 as I just got accepted to the OSU PMHNP program. Thanks!

New Grad Interview for ICU
@rileyjw90 awesome! Congrats on getting an interview - sometimes that's half the battle. I looked up a bunch of Youtube videos of people who shared the questions and answers during their ICU interview. I included the Youtube video that helped me the most in this post. Another thing that helped me was creating a Google doc and writing out my answers. A lot of interviews are being done over the phone right now, so it was kind of helpful if I felt off guard with a question I wasn't expecting. I got the job offer within an hour of interviewing, but I turned it down because I want to end up in the Operation Room in a pediatric hospital. I got a job offer that aligned more with my goal. Good luck! You totally got this ?

HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021
From what I understand, I think HRSA looks at applicants who have demonstrated that they will be serious about completing the 2-year service commitment and continue serving in communities with critical healthcare facilities. I also believe that they appreciate well-rounded applicants, but I can't say that for sure because I don't know the background of every candidate who received the scholarship award. Personally, I think what made me a competitive applicant was my healthcare experience in a community clinic providing primary care to under-resourced residents without health insurance. I have a lot of experience working in communities that are underserved and highlighted this in my application essays. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out! I wish you the best of luck!

HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021
I just got an email at 9:00 AM today from HRSA, and the first sentence says, "We have reviewed your FY 2020 Nurse Corps Scholarship Program (Nurse Corps SP) application, and you have been selected as a finalist for an award." Does this mean I got the award or I am continuing on in the application process? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I just can't believe it! I've never received a scholarship before.
