UNF Summer 2020
Hi!! I am currently a 2nd Semester RPL and my clinical for the rest of the semester has been canceled. To make up for it, we have to do HESI patient case studies. Once you get in you will have assigned HESI case studies for most of your classes and they are using extra case studies and online sim to make up for clinical hours. Unfortunately, I don't know how online classes will affect your first semester. You are learning fundamental nursing skills and assessments so it is very important that you are face-to-face and in the lab for the first semester. Second semester is very difficult material and tests wise and it is honestly less clinical. So its not such a loss with the classes switching to an online platform.

UNF Summer 2020
I know you all are a little nervous about the deadline in two days. I just wanted to wish everyone GOOD LUCK!!!! With many of the TEAS scores and GPA that I've seen, you guys will most likely get into the interviews. I have a friend who got in with a 3.7 prereq gpa and a 319 on the TEAS so there is hope, especially since there are actually fewer applicants for the summer start. Again, keep your head up and stay positive.

Sorry I am so late!! LOL don't be starstruck I was in the same position last year. But I hope you did well on your TEAS retake! I used the yellow Mometrix TEAS book and that really helped me with TEAS science!! I used that and the ATI TEAS manual and that manual helped me with the other sections. I recommend focusing on sections that you scored lower on and go from there. Sadly with Science, you either know it or you don't just because of how broad the questions are. I took the TEAS at FSCJ and from what I experienced was that if you take the TEAS twice at the same location you have a chance of getting the same test form. But don't quote me on that! At least you get 3 chances at each FSCJ location which is very nice! Feel free to send me an individual message if you have any other questions. I don't mind helping at all!!!

UNF Summer 2020
Hello. I am currently in the UNF nursing program, and just finished my first semester! Your prereq GPA is GREAT and above avg (avg prereq GPA were 3.7 for those admitted). Your TEAS is low and to put into perspective, the avg score for those invited to interview is 340. So I suggest you retake it. I had to retake it 3 times!! For interviews, I think you might have a chance with your current stats because of your high GPA. For interview invites, GPA and TEAS are each 50% of your total evaluation. But final evaluations: 50% for interviews, 35% for TEAS, 14% for GPA, and 1% for having an AA. So in the end, having a high TEAS score will help because it is weighted more heavily in your final ranking. Hopefully, this helped and was not too confusing. UNF nursing has a different ranking and admissions process than other universities, so it can be confusing. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! GOOD LUCK!! YOU GOT THIS!!

Because they score you right after your interview and then they add all of our scores up. Also, the nursing student told me they order our polos the same day after making decisions. Essentially, it does not take more than two days to make decisions since they have our scores on a list and go based off of that.

UNF FALL 2019
The crazy part is that they already made final decisions yesterday and ordered the polos and it's so nerve racking!! Waiting is torture!
