HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021

I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

Haven’t received a countersign yet and I was apart of the first group that received finalist emails ?

Hi, does anyone know if nurse corps provides any assistance for loans taken out for this past Summer semester?

I think it depends when you put your contract period on your application but I’m not sure.

You’re right! LOL I’m just freaking out because I don’t wanna sign a lease until I am 100% sure I’m getting the scholarship.

So I called and asked what the counter sign means and she was like “let me check your status” comes back and goes “soo it just says you’re under final review. I don’t see a counter sign on my end”...and I explained where the counter sign is on the contract and she had no clue what I was talking about and just said if you’ve received a counter sign you should be getting an award letter. If someone else wants to call and ask if the counter sign guarantees an award, please let me know what they say! My car is going and so I’m trying to budget appropriately. Thank you!

So I also called and they said the same thing to me, seems like they don’t know what it means! fingers crossed can’t be a bad sign!

Did they say they couldn’t see your counter signature too?

They didn’t really look, whoever answered for me wasn’t super helpful all she said was to keep an eye on my email

Thank you for getting back to me. Ah okay I guess I’ll try to be patient. Last year and the year before they didn’t find out until September 26 and 27.
