I'm a nurse of course and my boyfriend of 5yrs is a tattoo artist.
I sometimes feel weird telling fellow nurses that. I have no problem with his profession.
Just curious, anyone in similar situation?

He is 17 years older than me (I figure it takes them that long to mature!)
I have only been a nurse. He has been a soldier, pastry chef, nurse, disability worker and educator.
He likes all music except 80s pop
I like harmony, but I'm slowly learning to like Jimi Hendrix, some of the heavy metal; you'll never get me to like opera or blues
We are both mad about computers.
We both love animals, and enjoy having wild animals around our home (goannas, frill necks. ibis and a variety of wild birds).
I love to read, he doesn't.
He's Scots, I'm Australian born.
Basically, I've found that the longer we've been together the more our interests have become similar. In 15 years they should have.

Fiance: Software Engineer with hopes to be an entrepreneur.
We've got tons in common, but he's definitely more business-oriented... the common sense of the relationship, lol. I'm the book smart one. So... I guess we complement each other.

We've been married almost 28 years now! Yikes! We are opposite in some things (such as our music tastes) but in the important things we are in agreement. Besides, if we agreed on everything, it would be so boring!

I almost married a man that was my complete opposite...but we came to our senses.
My husband and I are two peas in a pod. We both have the same goofy sense of humor; like the same music, movies, ect.; both love online games; both love animals; both in the healthcare feild; graduated from the same small town school (just ten years apart).
Biggest differences is that we are both creative, just in different ways. I do photography, scrapbooking, and some music. He loves to write (I refuse to read any because I'm scared if it is not good, then I won't be able to lie well enough) and to paint. He is also far more laid back then I am.
if it wasn't for these women and men being away from their home and families bringing products to our local stores for us to buy there would be no LAND OF THE FREE. What would you do if all truckers went on strike and you couldnt get fresh items from your local markets, gas for car, clothes, shoes, medical supplies?
He can't cook, but I can. I leave a mess in the kitchen and he cleans it up (a nice arrangement since I do the cooking, and he gets to eat it. :))We both aren't handy around the house and have to pay people to do the hard stuff.
