How old were you when you began nursing school?

Just out of curiosity - how old where you when you started nursing school and what kind of school did you go to before - i.e. high school, four year college, 2 year, etc.?

Personally, I am graduating with my BA in psychology in May and entering an ASN program in September so I will be 22.

Well I started college right out of HS (Fall 04) as a Journalism major was 18 y/o. Then decided I wanted to switch to Nursing, so made the transition Fall 06. Had to play catch, so took pre-req's from Fall 06-Summer 08. However, my program, allows you take course's that do not have clinical components that are required in the program. So technically I started Nursing Fall 07 and just turned 21 y/o at the time. However, I officially started Nursing Fall 2008 and am 22 y/o currently. And In Jesus name, I will graduate Spring 2010 and be 23 y/o

Specializes in Dialysis.
