Just out of curiosity - how old where you when you started nursing school and what kind of school did you go to before - i.e. high school, four year college, 2 year, etc.?
Personally, I am graduating with my BA in psychology in May and entering an ASN program in September so I will be 22.
:)
That sounds like me, Wannabesedated :)
I went to a community college for a year to 'get my prereqs out of the way', but it's harder to get into the prereqs there, so I got behind a year. I couldn't even consider A&P my first year, but at the university, AP is designed to be accesible to freshman. And then, my first year at the university, I screwed off in most of my classes, necessitating retakes. I finally got accepted to the program for this coming fall. My dad is relieved..he was afraid I'd be a career student. lol
I graduated with a B.S. in Food Service Management when I was 21, worked for 5 years, and decided that the business wasn't for me, so went back to CC to start my pre-reqs at 27, started NS at 28, and will graduate in May - two months short of 30 years old. My hubby is starting his pre-reqs now, and starting NS in the fall, he will be 43 when he graduates in '11!
