I had never heard of anyone trying to consume alcohol by way of an enema, till i read this story:

someone correct me if I'm wrong but isnt alcohol mainly absorbed in the stomach? I guess the colon absorbs it as well as the guy died... go figure..I've never heard of this before...:uhoh3:

how in the world could anyone absorb that much fluid? Wonder how many times she had to do it and over what period of time to get it all in.

I've had a family pour whiskey down a peg tube but never via this route...

we used to give IV fluids per rectum for severe dehydration........

People are absorbing alcohol in many ways now days, Nebulizing alcohol.......What a bunch of retards........

Yes, the colon can absorb alcohol. I remember my mom telling me years ago that alcoholics used to do this, so that others couldn't smell the booze on their breath.

I wonder if the man consented and asked her to do this. I find it hard to imagine she did this without his consent.

when I was using, a friend (also a nurse) and I used to talk about trying cocaine enemas when our noses were so inflamed :rolleyes:
